![]() Chair's Message “As elected, NCDA Region VI, chair, I am grateful to serve in this role. Community Development is very important to improving the quality of life of people living within communities across the country. No city, town, county or community is too small to positively affect the lives of their residents using federal funds. Whether funds are used for infrastructure or social services, both are necessary to maintain vibrant communities. The work that we do as community development professionals and practitioners is ever changing and crucial in today’s political and economic environment. We must make the best policy and financial decisions for those who we serve. For communities that are not Region VI NCDA members, I encourage you to join our regional and national organization. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or suggestions about information on this website or the organization, as a whole. Best Regards, Kevin Howard Chairperson |
